In another episode of “for fucks sake TAE why did you park your car so far away”
The spot I’m using is 8.5 feet across (TAE metric feet) plus another two feet from the support pillar while the other end spot is only 6.25 feet across.

yep - I can frequently get a single lone corner spot in my work garage (nobody on either side) but when I can’t, I suck up close to a pillar on the right side. No point in giving anybody additional opportunity to put a door ding on your ride.
